Lake Crosby

Bradford County, Florida

Lake Crosby is located in Starke, Florida, and borders both Lake Sampson and Lake Rowell. It is also part of the Suwannee River Water Management District, and Gainesville and Jacksonville are both under 55 miles away.

The lake is only 10 minutes away from Shands Starke Regional Medical Center and a little over an hour from Jacksonville International Airport. It is 10 minutes from both Save A Lot and Delta Food Store.

Fun on the Water

Lake Crosby is wonderful for fishing for bass, catfish, speckled perch, and black crappie.

There is a boat ramp on the north side of the lake, and water skiing, jet skiing, and boating are popular activities among lakeside residents.

The Santa Fe Swamp Conservation Area consists of 570 acres and protects the flora and fauna of the unique Florida marshland.

The park offers opportunities for horseback riding, biking, hiking, and hunting for deer, rabbit, hog, and turkey. Hunting is permitted only with primitive weapons.
